 7 Tips for Your online affiliate marketing ! 

Have you come to the conclusion that you want to do online affiliate marketing, that is fantastic  a really great idea !

The easiest and most profitable way to start is Affiliate Programs. If you are willing to put a good bit of easy work into affiliate programs you can make a comfortable living. You will not need a varsity degree or anything like that. All you need is to set your goals in your mind. The main road to success are focused dedication and a lot of enthusiasm.

  1. Online Affiliate programs are thought to be the easiest online internet business to start running. Although it doesn’t hurt to do some study so that you  learn from other people’s mistakes rather than go through them yourself. In addition, you are likely to pick up ideas that you wouldn’t have come up with yourself. There are numerous training products with great strategies to adopt. One of the best places to find these is to look at what people who have used the courses are saying in some of the popular Internet marketing forums.
  2. Online Affiliate programs are a great way to get started with an online business. There are some ‘Super Affiliates’ who are making fabulous incomes from affiliate programs. Affiliate programs allow you to sell another company’s service or product and make a commission on every sale or lead. You don’t even need to build a web site or handle the transaction. Your job is to drive traffic to your affiliate link.
  3. An online affiliate link is a special URL code that will identify customers coming to the company’s site from your advertising. It will be the web site address with a code attached to the end. Some affiliate programs also have tiers. That means if someone who is interested in selling the product comes through your link and signs up you will also get a small percentage of their earnings.
  4. To choose a good rewarding online affiliate program you should do some research and establish what is popular at the moment. Then find a hot affiliate program in that niche, it will be a bonus if it marries with some of your interests. But do try to establish that people are buying the product or service online ! There are many ways of finding out this information including free ones, such as the Overture keyword tool. When you have found an area that is popular then type the subject along with ‘affiliate program’ into your search engine and see which programs have services or products for that niche. You can also use an affiliate program directory.
  5. After you have found a program that looks good you should check the terms and conditions for affiliates of the program. Make sure that pay outs are not based on high sales or only kick in once you have made 10 or more sales or you may never see your money!   Try to choose programs with high commission rates. Very often you will find ebooks and downloadable software has the highest % commission rates, as there is no physical product to make or ship. If you are satisfied with the terms then you should sign up.
  6. The reason online affiliate programs are so great for beginners is that you only need to focus on marketing. Many affiliate programs have information on how to market and give you tools such as banners, product feeds, images and really good ones will give you articles, tweets and blog posts. You can look for more information on marketing including writing articles, creating pay-per-click campaigns, commenting in online forums etc. As you gain experience in online marketing you will make adjustments to your selling strategies and start creating a wonderful income!
  7. Why a large number of would-be online marketers are either unsuccessful or only partially successful is because they lack focus. They jump from one strategy to the next without mastering any. In affiliate marketing, the key to success is planning and focus. Take one strategy and concentrate on it for a set period of time, maybe a month. If it isn’t returning enough then look for an alternative and spend time developing it.                                                                                                                                                     If it is working, then look at ways of making it even better. Most people want to ‘get rich quick’ on the Internet and fail. To make real riches you need to have a strategy, look to the longer terms and stay focused.

Now we know there are a lot out there and some are better than others but you do want the best one to suit your Blog Web Site Right ?

When you have a website or a blog you have a place to showcase your creations, it is very easy add videos to your blog or website and showcase your web videos and reviews.

You need a good reliable Web Video player one that serves the purposes !

Yup ! Lets look at the the questions you may want answered before you choose your Video Player. Some of these may be the same as the ones many of ask asked before when we ventured into the world of Web Video sharing so lets see if we can get them answered.

The first question is what kind of web video are you sharing ?

Are your Videos ones that further explains your products and services to generate leads and sales ?
Are your Videos going to be reviewing other products or services as an affiliate ?
Are your Videos pure entertainment and all you want to do is add funny videos of you and your friends ?

Now you might be surprised that there are a lot of different types of video players that you can choose from.

YouTube may spring to mind and that is not surprising as it is the most popular but the question is is it the perfect one for your Website ?

Viddler (Is a video hosting serve and social networking site FaceBook and WordPress supported a Free or Paid service upload or record your videos. (see The Six Figure Mentors here too) ,

All these video players are perfect for many different types of users, and they all come with their own specifications the list is not complete but are the most known players.

No matter what type of video player you install on your website, you need to make sure that you have the most current version of the player you are using.

This is incredibly important because since technology is ever-evolving, so are the various web video players you can use. In order to make sure that your video player will work properly with all types of browsers and Internet users, you must have the updated version of any video player.

If you want to use a different type of video player, besides the ten mentioned above there are several options that you can choose from.

Please remember people generally do not want to go through the trouble of having to install and run a video player by hand to view a one off video while they are surfing the net..  This is why the entire process is made easier by uploading your video to YouTube, DailyMotion or Viddler (Vimeo may also be an option here) and then embedding the video into your website.

Do check the players terms and conditions if you are uploading to the player for public viewing.This is by far the simplest and it is extremely easy.  It provides you with an added benefit ! Traffic Traffic Traffic  . . . One that you are sure to want, after all you want to gain as much traffic to your website as possible.

We know that one great way of doing this is through web videos, but if you put your new web video solely on your website and do not make it public . . .  it is quite probable and possible that no one will see it !

Viewers may by chance discover your site and see the video but there is a 1/1 000 000 chance of that happening..

This may not be a concern if you already have a loyal viewer-ship to your website, if you do not, then you may want to explore posting your public web video on YouTube by far the most popular place to view videos. It is the first place people search the Internet for informative videos and review videos.

The all important fact is all the web video share sites listed allow you to copy the URL to the video, and actually embed the video onto your website as well.

By doing this, you will have the video on your site, but it is also searchable through your chosen web Video share site be it YouTube or one of the other 10 Web Video share sites. You may want to consider posting it to all the available video share site (over 50 of them) or use a service like www.TrafficGeyser.com to do this for you.

By going down this path if your video becomes popular on YouTube or one of the other Web video share sites, you will see and enjoy a big increase in traffic to your websiteor blog.
